Awards

The Baveno Consensus Workshop Conference welcomes abstracts on portal hypertension and related issues: compensated cirrhosis, decompensated cirrhosis, vascular liver disease.
The best abstracts will be considered as Posters for presentation during the Conference.
Three prizes are awarded to investigators for each of the three abovementioned categories, and will be named after three prominent mentors:

  • Groszmann award
  • Burroughs award
  • Bosch award

🏆 Awards for the best abstracts include:

  • opportunity to present your work at a Baveno Cooperation Network webinar;
  • certificate and monetary prize;
  • Free EASL membership 🆕;

The winners will be communicated at the VIII Baveno Consensus Workshop

Pediatric Symposium Award

Pediatric Abstracts from early career investigators (up to 40 years of age) are encouraged for consideration of an abstract award which will consist of:

  • Presentation at the Pediatric Symposium
  • Registration for both meetings
  • Two nights lodging
  • Faculty dinner for the pediatric symposium on Saturday March 28th

Up to 3 abstracts will be selected with notification of the award winner(s) by February 6, 2026.

You are kindly requested to be present at your poster board during the coffee break and lunch breaks to discuss your work and answer participants’ questions.

Please note that there is no specific individual presentation time assigned.

Size: 70 × 100 cm

Type: Printed paper poster

The preparation and printing of the poster are entirely under the responsibility of the authors.

We do not provide specific templates; therefore, you are free to prepare your poster according to your preferred layout.

Kindly remember to include a Conflict of Interest statement.

🔎 Layout Recommendations

To ensure readability:

Titles and section headings should be clearly visible (approximately 60–70 pt).

Main body text should not be smaller than 24 pt.
